David Brady, Executive Vice President – Marketing, Public Relations and Strategic Implementation at the Houston Zoo.
David is in his ninth year at the Houston Zoo where he serves as Executive Vice President – Marketing, Public Relations and Strategic Implementation. In this role he has managed the Marketing, Public Relations, Development, Technology, Human Resources, Interactive Marketing, Graphic Design, Membership, Group Sales and Special Events Departments as well as leading the Houston Zoo’s ambitious Strategic Planning process.
The Houston Zoo recently reached annual attendance of over 2,500,000 guests and currently has over 60,000 member households. Both are high water marks for the 94 year history of the zoo. He was the driving force behind Zoo Lights which is about to begin its fifth year and is now Houston’s premier holiday event with 300,000 guests attending in 2015.
