Houston Christian High School (HC) is seeking to hire a qualified and talented Marketing and Communications Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and assisting with the marketing, promotions and public relations activities outlined in the strategic marketing plan. The selected candidate will work in close collaboration with the Advancement team and report to the Director of Marketing and Communications. This is a full-time, exempt position to begin immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversight of HC’s website content

Implement the social media tiered communications program

Coordinate outsourcing for the department

Provides support for the Director

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or Marketing

A minimum of six years of experience working in a fast paced marketing and communications role

Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Keynote

Excellent writing and editing skills

Experience working with web and social media marketing

Experienced, Christian professional with desire to support HC mission

Critical thinking skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines

A high level of integrity, diplomacy and regard for confidentiality are important for this role

Commitment to the mission and vision of Houston Christian and its academic goals and passionate about the continuous development of excellence in Christian education
