Aaron Eaves, Vice President of Digital Marketing, Marketing Refresh

Aaron Eaves is the Vice President of Digital Marketing at Marketing Refresh, bringing over a decade of strategic expertise in crafting impactful marketing strategies. His leadership is exemplified by founding SearchHOU, a digital marketing meetup that fosters professional growth and collaboration among Houston’s marketing community. Aaron’s commitment to the industry is further demonstrated through his role as the former Marketing Chair of the Houston Interactive Marketing Association (HIMA), now known as the Houston Business Marketing Alliance (HBMA). A sought-after speaker, he regularly shares his insights to hopes of empowering others to elevate their digital marketing skills.

 


Victoria S. Jones, Multimedia Content Manager at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)

Victoria Jones specializes in live broadcasts, content creation, and digital engagement. She is responsible for managing the SPE Tech Talk program, a bi-weekly broadcast on LinkedIn Live, and helps develop and maintain SPE’s virtual programming and multimedia content, collaborating directly with members and clients worldwide. Before joining SPE in 2021, Victoria worked as a podcast producer for HousingWire. Victoria has produced several podcast projects, including a female financial empowerment show that focuses on money management and leadership. She also served as the editor and executive producer of an orthopedic sports medicine podcast, which covered a wide range of scientific and healthcare-related topics. Victoria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Texas.

A long-time supporter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) Houston, Nathan has worked with a wide range of clients—from local businesses to national brands—and has had the privilege of photographing international celebrities. Despite his success, he remains grounded, always striving to capture stories that not only meet the client’s vision but elevate it. More than just a photographer, Nathan is a trusted creative partner dedicated to bringing each client’s unique story to life.

 


Stephen Brent May, Founder, One Foot Over

Stephen Brent May is a founder at One Foot Over, an agency that helps B2B companies do damn good marketing. Stephen currently serves on the American Marketing Association’s Professional Chapter’s Council, where he mentors marketers around the country on leadership and board management. He is a past president of the American Marketing Association Houston Chapter and a Leadership Houston Class XXXIX alum. A dynamic speaker, Stephen has been a keynote speaker at conferences throughout the United States and Europe, speaking about the future of marketing. He has also guest lectured for the Executive MBA program at Rice University. A native of West Virginia, Stephen currently lives in Houston with his husband, Jon-Michael, and their chihuahuas, Mika and Henry.

Edgardo de la Garza, Partner of DLG Research

Edgardo has focused his career on understanding the amalgamation of General and Hispanic markets, and their constant interaction that creates the new America. Originally from Mexico, and later migrated to the U.S. as a teenager, Edgardo understands cultural nuances and translates them into insights for corporate America.

During his 20+ years in the research and marketing industry, Edgardo has worked with top national agencies, as well as on the client side, on a diverse array of categories including banking and financial services, quick service restaurants, retail and grocers, adult beverages, construction, communications, automotive, and non-profit social issues. His company, DLG Research, has won a total of four Crystal Awards, two of them in 2024 along with an HBMA Lantern Award, an ANA Excellence Award, and a Hispanic Marketing Council Silver Award for a multicultural research project done with Texas Children’s Health Plan.

Brittany is a MarTech consultant dedicated to helping companies grow their online presence and achieve their goals. She specializes in supporting tech startups with SaaS product launches and provides creative direction for marketing and branding in small to mid-sized companies.

Brittany has a proven track record in leadership and process improvement, optimizing engagement with both internal and external stakeholders. As a former brand influencer, she has created content for companies like Walgreens and Disney+. Recently, she was named one of 50 Black Marketers to Watch by the African American Marketing Association.
