From $0 to $100M: Building Go-to-Market Engines Through Community, Not Just Campaigns
It’s that time of year! Trade conference budgets are under review, leadership wants justification, and every dollar must prove impact.
What if community wasn’t just engagement… but a scalable revenue engine?
In this hands-on workshop, YJ Lin, Founder of CMX Ventures and founding team member of Dell for Startups, shares how he helped grow the program from $0 to $100M in annual revenue, cutting customer acquisition costs by 80% by transforming community into a measurable go-to-market channel.
But here’s the nuance: community isn’t always the answer. And in some cases, it’s the wrong move.
This session breaks down:
- When campaigns outperform community, and when they don’t
- How to map where your customers actually spend time
- What metrics leadership truly cares about
- How to prove ROI on events, partnerships, and engagement
- How to evaluate GTM investments through a revenue lens, not activity
Using design thinking principles, participants will map customer ecosystems, identify misaligned investments, and leave with a repeatable framework to apply immediately.
If you’re navigating GTM strategy, event budgets, or revenue accountability in 2026, this is the room to be in.
