Dear AMA Community,
In case you didn’t know, July 1 kicks off a new year for AMA Houston, and this year, I am honored, humbled, and excited to serve as your president. We have some new board members joining the team but many more are sticking around for another year.
The AMA Experience
Our focus this year is the AMA Experience. In short, this means that everything we do is done through the lens of creating unique, memorable, and valuable experiences for our members. Aside from discounted member pricing at our events, we want to find new and innovative ways of adding value to your membership in all areas of the chapter.
We have big things planned for our mentorship program, AMA Gives Back, membership, and every other area of our chapter. I wish I could tell you about it now, but some things are worth the wait – I promise.
Beverage with a Board Member
This is your chapter and we want to hear what you want out of your AMA membership. Since we don’t return to our regular programming until our August luncheon, I want to have an informal meet and greet next week. If you want to meet up to share your ideas, ask questions about AMA Houston, or learn how to get involved in the chapter, join me for a drink or bite to eat.
