Our technology and communications services client is seeking a copywriter to draft and edit a variety of content targeting investors, community, employees, and public interest groups. Materials will include: newsletters, articles, presentations, speeches, videos, emails, intranet articles, brochures, posters, digital signage, etc.  Please note this is a contract role.


Create compelling content and communications formatted for digital platforms and online marketing campaigns

Craft web communications responding to requests for information and press conferences, and coaching client representatives

Write for a variety of audiences and formats, including print, broadcast, electronic, and web communication

Write press releases and other media communications in digital format

Manage development of digital programs email marketing and brand campaign management

Support business development team and client representatives writing effective copy

Update CMS Content Management System and maintain Web content current

Serve as editor of internal emails, including organizational announcements, safety messages, benefits announcements and leadership messages

Coordinate with department managers to identify trends and group interests and providing advice on business decisions

Develop and implement communications plans for internal programs and initiatives, such as community involvement programs and volunteer activities

Provides communication consulting and training services to internal clients and staff proactively and as requested

Coordinate communication objectives, key messages, strategies, timing and specific channels

Develops communications plans, incorporating analytics and measurement for results

Collaborates with graphic designers to produce attractive and effective communication materials


Minimum of 4 years of experience with strong, proven experience in writing, editing, and managing digital communication projects from planning to completion

Online writing portfolio of applicable samples (employee emails, intranet articles, newsletters, press releases, etc.)

Experience in communications/copywriting for technology, telecommunications, or software industries is preferred

Working knowledge of CMS Content Management Systems, CRM software SalesForce, and Pardot

Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations or related field
