Are you ready to help lead development of a successful sales operations program from the ground up? If so, we are currently seeking to hire a data-savvy, detail-minded CRM Analyst to join our Corporate Marketing team in Houston. In this newly formed role, you will serve as the company’s resident expert for its new sales operations and reporting platform, based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
In addition, you will serve as a source of expertise as the platform is scoped and built, carried out by a third-party design and integration consultant. You will also share key responsibilities for the rollout of the new system companywide, including facilitating user training programs. Following a successful rollout, you will maintain relationships with sales and management teams, driving adoption of best practices, implementing process improvements, and maintaining sales enablement tools across the organization. The selected candidate will report to the Vice President of Marketing. This is an in-office role, located in the Memorial City area of Houston.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development and maintenance of sales pipeline and forecasting reports for senior management
Work with marketing, sales, operations and IT leadership to steward development of a fit-for-purpose sales operations automation tool, with the assistance of a third-party development consultant
Train and support sales teams in the best practice use of the completed sales enablement, reporting and forecasting products
Coordinate sales teams’ efforts for customer and quote data entry and maintenance
Develop and maintain dashboards for sales and financial business functions
Own commercial forecasting, pipeline review, and weekly reporting responsibilities across the company and its business units
Analyze ongoing processes and work across the organization, to improve commercial efficiency, revenue enablement and cost reduction
Provide additional reporting and analysis for management, as required
Maintain ongoing operations of the system, including form and field maintenance, and regular training for new and existing users
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent CRM system
Demonstrable project management experience, and/or related experience in design, development, and utilization of business data systems
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Access databases are a value-add; proficiency with standard Microsoft Office
Bachelor’s degree, plus three+ of relevant experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, analytical skills, and able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines
