We are currently seeking to hire a Digital Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of our firm’s digital marketing vision. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and working closely with the VP, you will promote our brand’s thought-leadership to our target market, leading to an increase in clients and assets served. This includes identifying opportunities from both prospective and existing customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proactively take part in development, implementation, ongoing management, and performance measurement of prospective client acquisition programs

Assessing and implementing a company-wide digital marketing strategy

Effectively deploy a variety of marketing channels including writing educational blogs and/or editing blog articles written by our wealth managers, translating these into acquisition-driven social media posts, webinars, videos, infographics and more

Assist in business development efforts, including email marketing, social media positioning and website content

Develop and implement strategic components of the comprehensive annual marketing plan, including strategies, programs, event campaigns and digital assets

Executes on marketing strategy approved by Director of Marketing

Conduct market research and develop understanding of target market to help build prospective customer list. Source opportunities within existing client base and prospect database

Work with various members of the team, identifying actual financial strategies used in the firm’s financial planning practice, and effectively demonstrate the firm’s value wedge through those strategies to prospective clients

Collaborate with both the internal and remote team members to drive results through successful end-to-end campaign execution and successful project completion (on-time and on-budget)

Own the process for ensuring compliance approval and follow marketing workflow processes, optimizing as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance or related field

Excellent creative writing skills – having the ability to translate technical and complex financial planning concepts into accessible and valuable information for clients and prospects

Highly motivated, energetic personality that is driven by the thrill of the hunt and can excel in a fast-paced environment

Out-of-the-box thinker that seizes opportunities for improvement and stays abreast with latest best practices

Detail-oriented with strong project management and prioritization skills; must be able to handle multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously while maintaining quality work

Experience with WordPress, website content management, marketing automation platforms

Knowledge in basic design tools such as Canva, mockup tools, and graph creators

2 to 3 years investment or financial advisory industry experience is preferred

Interest in obtaining Series 65, CFP, CPA or CFA to develop knowledge of investing and financial planning – We sponsor and incentivize employees for all of these certifications and support financial planning conferences as well

Hupspot and/or RedTail CRM experience is a plus
