We are currently seeking to hire a Head of Marketing who will lead a global team of 6 in our Woodland’s office. In this role, you will be expected to apply experience, creativity, planning and leadership to achieve strategic marketing goals. You will work closely with partners and senior management to define an integrated strategy, strengthen marketing and communications infrastructure, and build and implement advanced digital market development functionality. In addition, you will develop tactics and content that will enable T.A. Cook to extend existing client relationships and market share, expand into new industry sectors, innovate rapidly and expand the global reach of our company. Time will be split between leadership tasks, and the origination and execution of assigned marketing campaigns and projects.

The selected candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in a marketing management role from a professional services background, have a thorough understand of modern marketing practice and channels, and be looking to take the next step up in their career. You must be a proven leader, with a strong and diplomatic, point of view, and with the ability to drive the development of strategic marketing activities on a global basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Creating original content ideas & working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, journalists and editors

Extending content reach through the strategic use of marketing channels, especially in the digital space

Developing a global content marketing strategy

Carrying out ad-hoc marketing projects at the request of senior directors/partners

Defining, developing and implementing marketing processes and best practices

Management of the Global Marketing Department (team of 6)

Devising the annual marketing plan, and determining and aligning on agile budget needs

KPI and ROI reporting to stakeholders, and continuous improvement initiatives

Setting the marketing tone for the company and ensuring brand guidelines are followed

Working closely with stakeholders on marketing and company projects

Representing the company at industry events and conferences

Ensuring team staffing levels are maintained, including recruitment and selection of new team members

Development of the marketing team

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven ability to write original content pieces and in partnership with internal stakeholders, journalists and editors

Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively at all levels and manage expectations

Digital marketing background and with 8+ years’ of marketing experience, and
with at least 3 of those in a managerial capacity

Up-to-date knowledge of marketing best practice, in particular – SEO, content marketing, promotional campaigns, digital marketing, social media marketing, and channel marketing

Experience in marketing at a consulting/professional services firm

Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and inspire a team

Familiarity with marketing platforms & tools (from Hubspot, Wordpress and Typo3 to
Brand Watch, Slideshare and Linkedin)

Master’s Degree, or post-graduate diploma, in marketing is preferred

2nd Language (Spanish, French or German) is preferred

Understanding of the industry sectors in which we work (oil and gas, chemicals, metals, power generation, pulp & paper, and mining) is preferred
