We are looking for a competitive and talented individual to perform the dual role of Inside Sales Representative and Marketing Lead that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment and enjoys a high exposure position as the marketing lead for the company. In this role, you will fulfill a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You will be intimately involved in the development of marketing strategies and campaigns, and responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the company’s presence on social media and industry events. The selected candidate will work in our corporate office in The Woodlands and you will be making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.


Provide Outside sales representatives support to complete purchase orders

Support Field Technicians with quotes for equipment, parts & services

Follow up all quotes until opportunity is considered dead

Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

Understand customer needs and requirements

Close sales and finalize all documents for invoicing

Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

Maintain and expand database of prospects

Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

Maintain quote log for all service, parts, and equipment

Prepare weekly sales meeting reports from GS data

Perform other duties as requested

Develop social media campaigns that build awareness of brand, products and services

Collaborate with internal functions to develop social media campaigns and content

Generate and produce weekly/monthly

Monitor user engagement and comments across social media platforms

Moderate comments on social media in accordance with internal policies and procedures

Measure success of social media campaigns and generate reports that demonstrate key performance indicators

Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies

Research opportunities for new social marketing platforms and adapt current strategy as required

Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop marketing campaigns

Work with internal designee to develop graphic that are appealing and brand compliant

Collect data, content and photography to support development of marketing materials

Support marketing efforts of the commercial organization through the development of brochures, handouts, PowerPoint presentations, etc. as necessary

Develop exhibit messaging and materials for trade shows, conferences and events

Update existing marketing materials to ensure accuracy and brand compliance


Proven inside sales experience

Minimum 3 years marketing experience

Track record of over-achieving quota

Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day

Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

Experience working with Global Shop is a plus

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Strong listening and presentation skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Hydraulic equipment, parts or service sales is preferred

BA/BS degree or equivalent is preferred

Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator; CRM and CMS systems; and digital email platforms (e.g., Marketo, Hubspot, Constant Contact). (Intermediate – Expert Users)
