We are currently seeking to hire a Manager of Social Media and Marketing. This role combines marketing and social media skills to help architect and enhance our company brand through marketing and social media. In this role, you will be interacting with customers, promoting brand-focused interactive and engaging content, project managing events and expanding opportunities for revenue generation. You will work with both sales and marketing team in Mexico and the US to create innovative strategies and campaigns.

Community leadership and participation (both online and offline) are integral to success, as we want to convert fans into raving fans and raving fans into customers. An essential component of this role is to understand the Mexican culture and communicate the company's brand in an authentic way that will attract today's modern, hyper-connected business customers in Mexico.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with sales and marketing teams to build social media and marketing campaigns

Creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content

Assist in creating a regular publishing schedule for events, blogs and the social media calendar

Leverage company chosen platforms and software tools to manage all social content

Develop relevant content topics to reach the company's target customers in Mexico (Spanish language proficiency)

Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written)

Monitor, listen and respond to users in a "Social' way while cultivating leads and sales

Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions

Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts

Work with the team on design (i.e. Facebook, profile pic, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.)

Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns

Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation

Monitor online reviews and respond accordingly

Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed

Compile reports for management showing results (ROI)

Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate

Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics

Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews

Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy

Implement ongoing education to remain highly affective

Identify opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company

Monitor effective benchmarks (Best Practices) for measuring the impact of social media campaigns

Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Communications or Marketing

Two years of experience with social media management and marketing, content creation in WordPress, copywriting, graphic design, web design, PowerPoint and strategy, data collection, analysis and technology skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English

Attention to detail, self-motivated, and a creative problem-solver
Highly motivated and creative with experience

Effective interpersonal skills and a passion for efficient and effective project execution

Demonstrated a strong bias for action, teamwork, results orientation and a passion for quality

Experience with major social media platforms and marketing automation platforms, e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, etc. are a priority
