We are currently seeking to hire a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator. In this role, you will support the development of new OEM business opportunities by generating leads, building interest, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating promotional activities. You will support market analysis research and initiate contact with prospects. In addition, you will utilize existing marketing technology to attract and convert leads and acquire and retain customers. The selected candidate will also support efforts in digital asset management, social media content development and campaign management, trade show planning, web analytics, and organic SEO management.
Works with the Director of Marketing and OEM Business Development Manager to set weekly, monthly and quarterly targets/goals for “Customer Connect” activities
Generates product and/or customer reports from the CRM systems for the Director of Marketing, OEM Business Development Manager and other executives
Proactively initiates calls with existing customer accounts on a regularly scheduled and ongoing basis to assess needs and timelines
Answers phone, email and web inquiries to send requested product literature and other routine information to customers
Nurtures OEM leads through phone calls, email and direct mail initiatives to keep Millar top of mind
Support trade show logistics and planning including pre and post show marketing efforts
Attends OEM trade shows as needed to support Sales & Marketing efforts and to meet with customers in person (requires some occasional and limited overnight travel)
Process trade show leads and sets up follow up schedules, as required, to respond to leads obtained at trade shows
Update and maintain accurate information for existing customer accounts within the CRM
Identifies opportunities when corresponding with customers to solicit market feedback/research and also survey customers to determine their satisfaction level with the products/services (CSAT/NPS)
Generate and manage social media content for Millar social channels and creates monthly reports for review
Provide support with website content updates, web content audits and optimizing website lead conversions
Develops and monitors email marketing campaigns
Conduct market research as needed
Maintain accurate, complete, and detailed data in the Salesforce system
Uses Pardot Marketing Automation system to support lead development and nurturing
Other tasks, duties or responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Marketing
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
2 – 4 years of professional experience
Knowledge and willingness to stay on top of the latest trends and best practices in marketing technology and practices
A team player with strong interpersonal skills and innovative, positive thinking
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Detail oriented, well organized, and independently competent.
Experience using a website CMS, including basic knowledge of HTML.
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and Pardot preferred
Experience with Adwords and Google Analytics
Able to work with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign), a plus
Able to brainstorm at a high level
Experience with business development leads (in-depth research into each lead and potential applications)
Savvy with social media posting and campaign monitoring
Experience with trade show planning and logistics
Proven skills with targeted email campaigns / frequency of emails, etc.
Experience with Adwords management, data mining and data entry for leads, and knowledge center lead management
