Weatherford International is currently seeking to hire a Marketing Communications Manager. In this role, you will Work with Corporate Communications on trade shows, digital announcements, client and investor requests. In addition, you will work in concert with corporate marketing and creative resources to develop Product Line communication material to support clients and investors requests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Craft products and services positioning, marketing messages and collateral based on provided technical content that are consistent with PL marketing strategy and align with the Corporate Marketing brand message strategy

Demonstrate effective safety leadership at all times to enhance the organization’s commitment to safety performance

Prepare and manage product line marketing budget in collaboration with business unit to reflect corporate strategy and focus

Develop, lead, and execute product line specific marketing campaigns

Lead campaign execution from start to end meeting planned timeframe

Manage product line content development in alignment with the Corporate Marketing brand message strategy

Manage product naming development and trademarking

Support product line sales initiatives, such as new product launches, with the development of sales tool kits and other sales materials

Develop communication plans to fulfill product line strategy

Understand plurality and how customer behaviors might be distinctive in different countries or cultures in order to adapt positioning and messaging accordantly

Select communication channels that effectively disseminate the strategic message to reach targeted audiences

Measure effectiveness of marketing communication through development and analysis of reporting metrics

Develop and implement a continual improvement process for marketing communication effectiveness for associated Product Line

REQUIREMENTS:

Advanced writing and marketing storytelling capability

Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

Ability to build coalitions/working relationships with others in a matrix organization

Continually looks for ways to improve processes

Capability to professionally manage and develop employees with positive leadership skills

Ability to link campaigns and messages to business goals, marketing strategies, and corporate brand themes

Manage multiple projects simultaneously; manage cross functional teams

Profound understanding of how different marketing communication channels engage various audiences, both traditional and digital

Familiarity with the creative production and distribution process

Minimum 7+ years related experience with University/College Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent

Possess basic PC skills necessary to manage MS Office products, familiarity with CRM software is preferred

Understand the importance of communications and how it is used to support and develop the brand

Ability to speak other languages

Design and writing

Experience working within a large, multi-national, matrixed business-to-business organization preferred; political and cultural awareness

5+ years of management experience
