The Marketing & Communications Specialist will be responsible for internal and external communications projects including newsletters, emails, and digital content creation & distribution. The ideal candidate will have a dynamic personality, be creative, experienced in managing a wide range of tasks, well organized, dependable, trustworthy, detail-oriented, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of supporting teams and clients in two countries. He/she must be able to function effectively in a variety of duties under minimal to no supervision. Being bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.

Create, edit, design, and publish key communications content (i.e., presentations, flyers, newsletters, white papers, press releases, etc.) with accuracy and consistency

Oversee social media channels, including SEO, driving online community growth, lead generation and engagement, developing, and curating corporate content, maintaining social media profiles, track and measure key metrics, post engagement

Maintain website; track and measure analytics including SEO, web traffic and lead generation

Generate story ideas and topic angles for corporate communications

Research and apply for any qualifying industry specific awards

Design digital and print marketing materials, adhering to brand standards

Create, compose, and edit internal and external correspondences

Log and maintain all collected materials within digital archive for archival or on-demand purposes

Create and implement media relations and key influencer strategies

Perform other duties as deemed necessary


Bachelor’s Degree required, preferred in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field

Requires at least 3+ years of communications/marketing experience

Microsoft 365 proficiency (Outlook, PowerPoint, EXCEL, Word, CRM)

Media relations experience in developing press releases and working with key influencers is helpful

Ability to condense and organize complex information into meaningful communications

Strong creative writing skills and concept development

Excellent organizational skills with ability to work with several departments

Solid verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Interpersonal skills, dependable, proactive, work in collaborative environment & communicate within all levels of organization

Manage multiple, simultaneous, time-sensitive projects with accuracy

Self-starter that can drive initiatives from start to completion with little to no guidance

Strong professionalism, sound business judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations

Results-oriented with proven ability to work both independently and as a member of a team

The candidate must have strong written and presentation content communications skills

Knowledge of Spanish language is preferred
