We are currently seeking to hire a Marketing Coordinator/Community Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will work directly with division leadership to plan, implement, and execute planning and campaign activities for May and November bond referendums. In addition, you will complete various responsibilities related to market research, business development visits, interviews, etc. During and between campaign seasons, you will be actively involved in the marketing production processes associated with RFQ/RFP responses for new business opportunities for multiple service divisions within PBK. You will also maintain creative control over special projects within the marketing department, including brochure design, mailer design, layouts for submittals, and firm advertisements. The selected candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.

Work with internal and external teams to write and develop new campaign communication collateral for use across multiple communication channels including print, outdoor, digital, social media, and website design

Assist with media outreach including requests for coverage and press releases

Manage and assist with logistics around campaign meetings, including event support, material development, correspondence, and follow up

Facilitate campaign meetings and coordinate with local campaign leadership

Assist with campaign contact database management

Develop and implement campaign timetables

Monitor campaign budgets

Research and coordinate work with printers and suppliers

Maintain research database for past, current, and future bond election cycles

Assist marketing department with the development and production processes associated with RFQ/RFP responses for new business opportunities for multiple service divisions within PBK, as needed

Assist marketing department with special projects, as needed

Support the corporate office staff as necessary for requests related to office graphics and technical support of marketing production assets, as needed

Assist marketing department with maintaining all marketing resource materials-brochures, data, slides, color copies, photography, files, and marketing database, as needed


Equivalent of bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or technical related field

Related experience in graphic design is a plus

Good organizational, communication, and leadership abilities

Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (latest version) and Microsoft Office Suite (latest version)

Experience with social media content development, scheduling, and page management

Ability to work independently with a self-motivated “Do whatever it takes” attitude; capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously

Working knowledge of PowerPoint, including use of color palettes, master slides, imported elements and template creation a plus

Ability to generate impressive graphics products under strict deadlines

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Able to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors (as needed)

Ability to travel and attend nightly committee meetings
