Founded in Houston, Texas in 2001, Abel Design Group is a premier mid-size architecture and design firm with projects across the globe. In addition to our headquarters in Houston, we also have offices in Austin, Dallas, and Denver.

We are currently seeking to hire a self-motivated and highly driven Marketing Coordinator to join our Houston office. In this role, you will work closely with Principals and Senior Designers to manage company-wide marketing initiatives and prepare presentations and proposals in Adobe InDesign. The selected candidate will have strong project management, organizational, and time management skills to operate with confidence under multiple deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage company-wide marketing efforts, including marketing collateral, industry events, social media presence, and website

Build strong connections with all leadership team members to help coordinate marketing and business development needs

Produce proposals, presentations, and other marketing collateral in alignment with brand standards and demonstrating the expertise of Abel Design Group

Write press releases, brochure content, emails, and other content as needed  

Manage photo shoots of completed projects

Update the website and manage SEO efforts

Manage non-profit and charity efforts

Coordinate content development, award submissions, and other initiatives

Produce and implement email campaigns and social media presence

Manage subscriber lists in Constant Contact

Respond to media inquiries and manage media relationships

Guide the development of systems supporting the marketing efforts, including tracking leads

Manage editorial calendar of emails, events, and opportunities for each office

Perform multiple marketing efforts against rapid and frequent deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:

5-10 years relevant experience in marketing, preferably in the A/E/C industry

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop

Familiarity with social media platforms

Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments

Extreme attention to detail

Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills
