We are currently seeking to hire a Marketing Coordinator.  In this role, you will play an important part in contributing to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with our business goals. You will have an eye for creativity and be passionate about learning and developing your marketing skillset while growing professionally. The selected candidate will be an organized, self-starting, multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the implementation of the Credit Union’s brand and marketing strategy

Help ensure the marketing team’s efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, by executing on the plan and identifying improvements for processes, content, and design during your day-to-day work

Create, manage and update social media processes and editorial calendars

Prepare and send marketing emails under the direction of the Strategic Marketing Manager

Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success

Support the maintenance of our marketing database, website and collateral

Further knowledge and education regularly through on-the-job learning, workshops, research, and seminars; share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team

Coordinate meetings and events by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating invitation lists

Design and update marketing collateral in line with brand standards and style guidelines

Manage and fulfill weekly branch collateral and promotional item requests; maintain inventory of marketing materials

Engage with positive social reviews and escalating member service feedback for resolution as necessary (Google, Yelp, Facebook, etc.).

Optimize existing company social media handles through data analysis, and make appropriate recommendations on next steps

Collect campaign data and provide analytics and reporting to provide insights for future campaign improvements

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications

Minimum of 1-3 years professional experience in a marketing role at an agency or mid-sized organization

Illustrated knowledge of content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, event marketing, and graphic design

Keen eye for design and details, and demonstrated ability to create written and visual content

Proficiency in all major social platforms for organic social (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)

Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator or InDesign

Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills

Prior experience using Hubspot is an advantage

Detail oriented and able to work collaboratively and individually

Organized and able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Able to adhere to brand standards and style guidelines, financial institution regulations

Able to work occasional evenings and weekends if needed

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
