Marketing Director and Physician Liaison [JRP-02025]

Texas Foot and Ankle Specialists (TXFAS ) is a foot and ankle specialty medical and surgical practice located on the West side of Houston in Katy. Founded in 2016 by P David Applegate, DPM, Texas Foot and Ankle Specialists is committed to delivering quality foot and ankle care for the Katy and surrounding areas.

We are currently seeking to hire an outgoing, energetic, and self-motivated Marketing Director to join our team in Katy on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for increasing our practice’s revenue by strengthening relationships and broadening the referring physician base, while always promoting brand awareness within the medical community and community in general. You will be a multifaceted professional and primarily perform the role of a traditional physician liaison, but you will also be required to manage and excel at all aspects of community, social, digital, and traditional marketing. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify new growth opportunities, manage, and implement detailed marketing plans for all marketing arms.

Develop and execute awareness building campaigns within assigned budgets.

Continually exhibit an outgoing, social, and positive personality, who enjoys and is comfortable with extensive local travel and building strong relationships with people from all walks of life.

Play a pivotal role in increasing the practice’s revenue by strengthening and broadening the referring physician base and promoting brand awareness among the medical community and community in genera.

Travel within the Katy and surrounding areas to call on Physicians’ offices and engage directly with both Physicians and key staff members to establish relationships and build a constantly evolving referral network

Monitor and interpret physician referral data and patterns to identify potential growth opportunities, evaluate the impact of outreach, and actual strength of relationship versus perceived levels.

Conduct a minimum of 50 or more office visits per week, meeting directly with referring office decision makers (MD/DO, PA, ARNP, referral coordinator, nurse / etc.). Track all interactions in a highly-detailed manner via CRM software immediately following each visit.

Organize and conduct multiple “lunch and learns” a month in appropriate/high potential offices to educate staff and physicians on services/products/protocols.

Continually maintain, update and refine our database in CRM for all offices, referring physicians and staff/office contacts.

Run timely reports to accurately ensure that all marketing campaigns are generating their targeted ROI (e.g. number of referrals, increase/decrease in referrals, etc.).

Coordinate resolution of customer service issues between referring offices and practice.

Maintain a high level of awareness of competitive activity within the market.

Identify and communicate new opportunities, market trends, and issues to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner and on a regular basis.

Identify new business marketing events and opportunities to grow the organizational brand in the community and directly stimulate new patient appointment bookings.

Create an annual PR plan to coordinate, attend and provide direct support for community outreach activities to include running events, health fairs, chamber of commerce events, local school functions, and local community festivals.

Develop long-term relationships, for referral purposes, with local businesses, schools, chamber organizations, business networking groups and other appropriate community influencers.

Utilize creativity and market insights to identify and develop new promotional opportunities/initiatives to drive business.

Serve as a point of contact for the practice when interacting with outside media and digital marketing agencies.

Plan and manage office events such as meet and greets, open house events, and inhouse public outreach

Create and manage short-term and long-term social, digital, and recall marketing campaigns that generate quality leads for the practice

Create effective targeted internal marketing campaigns to engage existing patients and increase patient retention

Work with our social media platforms to create content for Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, Yelp, Google Business and LinkedIn

Develop content for the TXFAS website and create frequent and targeted email marketing campaigns

Stay current with best practices, strategies, and industry standards for social media, SEO and search engine marketing (SEM)

Oversee the online reputation of the practice

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business, or Communications is strongly preferred

Possess superb interpersonal communication skills with excellent follow through and enthusiasm for customer service and relationships

Flexible (as the position will often require evening and weekend work)

Experienced and comfortable in various public speaking situations

Proficient in Google Drive applications

Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, plan development and campaign implementation across channels and tactics (SEO/SEM, display, email, social, blogging, mobile)

Above-average attention to detail and strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Always maintain a professional and positive public image and demonstrate appropriate business etiquette

Maintain extensive working knowledge of all the services provided by Texas Foot and Ankle Specialists and be able to effectively communicate the benefits and value of our services

Ability to work nights and weekends as required by sponsored events

Use of a personal vehicle for community-related work (mileage will be reimbursed)

Valid Texas Driver’s License
