Accudata Systems, named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas by the Houston Business Journal two years running, is seeking an experienced Marketing Director to drive growth and strategic alignment. In this role, you will be responsible for rallying and inspiring the corporate marketing team to drive a cohesive, focused voice for the firm. It will also be your responsibility to create the firm’s marketing strategy, aligning it to annual goals and strategic direction, while considering all of the organization’s stakeholders, including but not limited to customers, manufacturing partners, firm leadership, and sales. This requires a strong understanding of the importance of a diverse marketing mix, including digital and traditional marketing tactics as well as the systems and tools used to support those efforts.

The selected candidate will build processes, strategies, and programs from the ground up, envisioning new possibilities and then working with the team to execute on the vision to grow the firm and increase brand recognition. You must have a fundamental understanding of sales and its inherent relationship with marketing. Whether building and rolling out communications strategies, demand generation programs, or account-based strategies, working with Sales Leadership and Account Managers is critical to the success of this role.


2+ years of experience managing a team

5+ years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role

Proven track record of driving/measuring results and an ability to execute

Thrives in a dynamic environment

Expertise in digital marketing across applications including, but not limited to marketing automation platforms, sales automation platforms, CRM, web site management, digital advertising platforms, webinar hosting platforms, etc.

Ability to prioritize across multiple initiatives

Can communicate effectively across all levels, from individual contributors to executive staff

Not afraid to get hands dirty; great attitude and willingness to help out wherever necessary

Equally passionate about getting things done and team building

Four-year college degree in Marketing, Corporate Communications, or Business Management

Excellent communicators, both verbal and written

Deadline-driven project managers

Able to manage, coach, and lead

Tactful risk-taker

Fast learner

Eager team player

Able to travel occasionally if necessary

Able to provide samples of previous work during the interview process
