Certified Group is currently seeking to hire a Marketing Event Specialist who is passionate about organizing, coordinating, and supporting events, conferences, and webinars. In this role, you will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and you will work closely with the marketing, design, sales and other departments across the organization to coordinate projects, propose on-the-go solutions, and develop strategies on how to best promote Certified Group during events, keeping ROI, branding, and communications top of mind. The selected candidate will possess project management skills, industry knowledge, and an eye for detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize a tradeshow/event strategy to provide ROI on all events
Coordinate and manage exhibition booths, conferences, events, demonstrations and presentations, road shows, launches and webinars
Provide event summaries and reporting
Project management and execution
Work across team build and strengthen the brand
Maintain marketing collateral including literature, posters, banners, tradeshow graphics, etc.
Travel within US as needed and overseas from time to time as required
Ensuring that the brand is protected and inspire brand support
Other tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
4-5 years of relevant marketing experience preferably with extensive event planning (minimum of 40 events/year)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and capability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Organized, task driven, with excellent attention to detail
Ability to make good decisions under pressure as well as ability to accomplish multiple tasks in limited time frames
Self-motivated, pro-active individual who is able to work independently as well as in a team
Intermediate Microsoft Office, including Microsoft SharePoint and Teams
Comfortable working with deadlines and multiple projects in parallel
Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility and diplomacy in interpersonal relationships
Friendly and personable with exceptional customer service abilities
Demonstrates emotional maturity and ability to operate under stressful situations
Able to work in a remote role and travel up to 25%
