Established in 1988, Factory Builder Stores is the largest contract distributor in Texas. With showrooms in Austin, College Station, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, we supply more than 40 different brands of appliances and cabinets.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager for our corporate office in Houston. In this role, you will report to the Vice President, Sales and Marketing and be responsible for leading the marketing team and driving marketing activities in support of sales and brand development. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with managers to collaborate on marketing efforts to both new and existing customers.

Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns to promote growth and awareness of the FBS brand, vision and strategy.

Develop, present and gain approval of marketing plan and budget internally and with vendors.

Create and oversee the execution of marketing plan and content calendar.

Manage FBS audience through SEO/Keyword and targeting, integrated marketing and platform optimization. (social, website, print, newsletter & e-mail)

Generate and manage leads through digital marketing strategies to optimize FBS traffic. (SEO, SEM, email marketing, etc.)

Coordinate and plan events to promote showroom traffic and grow customer base.

Analyze metrics and make recommendations to boost visibility and engagement.

Monitor competitive industry and business insights to identify opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related

Relevant experience in the builder industry is preferred

Possess strategic thinking skills

Ability to work effectively and collaborate cross-functionally, and be solution-oriented

Detail oriented with ability to multi-task

Dynamic and proactive, take initiative, be a team player

Possess solid problem solving /analysis skills

Great time management skills

Willingness to tackle matters outside area of expertise

Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and others

Basic HTML skills and WordPress platform knowledge
