We are currently seeking to hire a Marketing Project Manager. As a member of Insperity’s Marketing and Business Development department, you will support projects across all marketing business units, including but not limited to, the development, documentation, and execution of processes and other business initiatives. You will influence project stakeholders by offering solutions and redirecting efforts with the objective of successfully facilitating project planning and project documentation to ensure timely delivery of specified requirements and functionality to meet goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads, participates with and provides day-to-day guidance to project teams to ensure that marketing projects are delivered timely and in alignment with the project scope in order to achieve desired business results

Supports the execution of projects in collaboration with internal and external constituents by effectively defining and documenting project framework and direction, including vision, business drivers, feasibility, costs and scope

Works with marketing management to foster effective and positive relationships to meet the defined business goals

Establishes and implements effective practices to recommend or implement solutions that focus on and deliver positive business results

Develops and fosters positive working relationships within the organization in order to effectively integrate project deliverables and meet defined business goals

Manages assigned projects to include the development and implementation of project requirements, timelines and related success factors in collaboration with key stakeholders

Provides guidance to project teams regarding structure of project plans and for maintaining the integrity of project management data records including structure, storage and retrieval

Evaluates project plans and processes for streamlining and improvement opportunities

Maintains accountability for timely and efficient project delivery and overall project tracking for all projects through the use of project-tracking tools as required

Facilitates communication as appropriate to all project team members and communicates to all stakeholders on status, progress and forecasted final targets of projects, including any schedule constraints, resource issues, project risks, and scope changes

Coordinates appropriate team development activities necessary to complete the project such as training and meeting facilitation

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred.

Formal training in project management is preferred.

Five to seven years of experience in management of corporate wide projects is preferred.

Experience in an in-house marketing department or advertising agency preferred.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or formal project management training is preferred

Demonstrate broad business acumen and competency in strategic thinking, with the ability to generate creative and alternative solutions

Ability to analyze data from a macro perspective, reach conclusions, and make recommendations to support business initiatives in an environment where many variables and limited standardization exists

Demonstrate attention to detail, as appropriate

Strong core project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage multi-faceted projects in a cross-functional environment with competing priorities and under narrow time limitations

Possess broad working knowledge of technology applications and their impact on the business

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels

Work well in group problem-solving situations and demonstrates the ability to collaborate and lead through influence to solve dynamic problems and help team members achieve vision

Understands ad agency creative team or in-house marketing department operations, including basic production requirements for print and digital deliverables

Goal oriented, action-focused, pragmatic, and self-disciplined

Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as the ability to present and explain information, both business and technical, in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding

Able to travel up to 20% of time
