We are a hospitality & entertainment company looking for a Marketing Specialist in the Houston area to oversee two exciting venues! Our company originated in the UK and is expanding quickly in the United States, so there is opportunity for growth, while still maintaining work life balance. We offer competitive salary, benefits, and time off. This role will be part of the marketing team and will report into our national Director of Marketing.
The selected candidate will be responsible for creating marketing content for social media, implementing the email marketing strategy, planning marketing campaigns and events, being the main point of contact for our PR teams, creating reports of results, building out a marketing calendar, and organizing and coordinating local partnerships and promotions with third parties. You will collaborate with A) the Marketing Managers from our other regions to ensure that the brand strategy is cohesive amongst venues, B) the sales team to ensure that your marketing efforts support their sales efforts, and C) the
venue operations teams to ensure that both marketing efforts are properly communicated and executed in venue and that the marketing efforts are properly aligned to support the venue’s specific business needs. Finally, your analytical skills will assist you as you monitor and report on the success of your marketing efforts.
Plan and execute campaigns and events, working closely with venue Operations teams
Track, analyze and report the success of those campaigns and events
Create online and offline marketing content, working closely with in house art team
Empower the sales team with marketing content and campaigns that help drive sales
Create and capture social media content
Be the main point of contact for any marketing requests and outside PR agency and coordinate those requests
Manage and maintain all promotions and partnerships with third parties
Help plan and direct content shoots
3-5 years of marketing experience
BS/BA in Marketing or a related field of study
Excellent writing and communication skills
Demonstrated ability for high levels of organization and administration, communication, and being able to work independently/remotely without daily check-ins and oversight
Thorough understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn with an eye for aesthetics and ability to behave natively on the platforms
