Our client is currently seeking to hire a Program Manager for Employee Recruitment & Retention Campaigns. In this role, you will oversee, and support major districtwide campaign efforts aimed at attracting, retaining, and developing human talent, elevating the brand and message of Houston ISD as a whole. This includes setting and executing a long-term branding and design strategy for teachers, counselors, nurses, librarians, safety personnel, transportation personnel, and others. Working cross-functionally, you will interpret data, hiring goals, and district needs, partnering with the communications department to produce graphics for presentations, websites, print publications, and others. The selected candidate will oversee end-to-end management of both new and priority employee recruitment and retention campaign initiatives, as determined by district leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages districtwide design projects supporting Talent Acquisition across multiple departments and stakeholders, translating communication objectives into creative strategies and concepts

Partners with the communications department to design and develop visual communications while providing creative direction and technical assistance to business owners

Ensures that employee recruitment and retention campaigns reach and motivate target audiences in a way that is research-based, cost-effective, and results-oriented

Collaborates with the communications department, leadership, external community partners, and vendors as needed to ensure a seamless and consistent campaign experience across all print and digital communication channels

Stays apprised of industry trends and implements best practices for talent acquisition and retention as it relates to HISD recruitment and retention campaigns

Attends recruitment events as needed to assess and improve the effectiveness of HISD visual presentations, tools, etc.

Develops a working knowledge of the challenges and opportunities experienced by all HISD employee groups, tailoring messaging to best support and elevate the district

Provides guidelines as needed to staff on the request for and use of Talent Acquisition marketing and communication materials

Devises a regular system of communication with recruiters to understand the challenges and opportunities they face and provides support to best meet goals and address gaps

Interprets data, hiring goals, and district needs, partnering with the communications department to create and produce graphics for presentations, websites, print publications, and others

Develops communication strategies that meet internal and external needs for attracting, retaining, and developing world-class talent for HISD

Builds long-term partnerships with the community and district partners to ensure continuous flow of our candidate pipelines while elevating our brand awareness

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree (applicants who do not meet these education qualifications may be considered if they have a unique combination of education and work experiences that indicate potential for success in this role)

5 to 7 years of recruitment experience for K-12 school districts is preferred (applicants who do not meet these work experience qualifications may be considered if they have unique combination of education and work experiences that indicate potential for success in this role)
