Houston Baptist University is currently seeking to hire a Project Manager. In this role, you will play a lead part in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out marketing projects. The selected candidate will be accountable for the entire project scope, the project team and resources, the project budget, and the success of the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborates with the marketing VP to create a strategic marketing strategy and maps out the tasks needed to implement that strategy

Ensures management is satisfied with the proposed marketing campaigns

Collaborates with writers and graphic designers to create advertising content

Creates and manages a content calendar and scheduling deadlines

Determines marketing campaign budgets and ensures that all staff adheres to them

Maintains an up-to-date understanding of the company, its products, and its client base to implement effective marketing campaigns

Develops and maintains strong working relationships with external vendors

Manages project scope, project schedule, and costs

Ensures successful completion of projects on time within scope and budget

Tracks and communicates project progress, including the completion of short and long-term goals

Creates and manages project workflows

Proactive in making processes consistent and efficient

Performs other duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Marketing or relevant field

Minimum of 3 years as a Project Manager within a marketing, or business analyst team

Strong presentation skills including experience in influencing teams and stakeholders

Excellent multitasking skills

Excellent time-management skills

Proven self-management and team-management skills

Strong organizational skills including attention to detail

Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

Able to work occasionally on projects that may require evening or weekend duties

Able to pass a background test if necessary
