We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Content Strategist. In this role, you will report to the Director of Communications and Public Relations, and you will be the go-to for all things content. You will work with internal stakeholders and clients to tell their stories, shape how they are positioned and create content to communicate their message across various communication mediums. You will draft emails and ads, social media posts and blogs, web content and video scripts, and much more. In addition to drafting social media content, you will also oversee social media strategy and execution, including editorial calendars, scheduling, engagement and cross-amplifications opportunities.

The selected candidate will be an excellent writer, have strong social and emotional awareness, adaptable to any situation, and work well on a team. Remote working is possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be a part of a fun, highly strategic team, working directly with the Creative Director, Client Success Managers, and Digital Strategist creating highly effective integrated campaigns

Collaborate with client partners to better understand customers’ needs to help define key messaging and ensure brief is clear and strategically spot-on

Translate complex technical information into engaging, conversational copy that connects with our client’s target audience

Write about a wide variety of products and solutions, aligning with the brief and reflecting the client’s brand voice

Work with the Digital Strategist to concept and execute lead-gen campaign tactics from email and landing pages to digital ads, ebooks, infographics, videos, driving customers and prospects down the funnel

Confidently present your ideas from concept through final layout 

Think like an entrepreneur and take ownership of every project, from kick-off through final project release

Roll with the editing process and unexpected changes while meeting tight deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:

Ambitious with a history of high achievement and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment with peers who challenge you to be better

6+ years of marketing communications experience, including an understanding of the creative process and the feedback cycle

BA/BS Degree in marketing, journalism, or advertising with an emphasis in digital marketing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft communications to support overall marketing strategy

Possesses an integrated marketing communication and strong digital background, having participated in the development of copy for marketing programs including but not limited to: Email/marketing automation; Digital banner ads; Video and other digital content; and Digital media

Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation skills

Understanding of SEO/SEM principles and how to apply them to your writing

Deep understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.

HubSpot and Microsoft Office experience

Charisma, a positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to multi-task while wearing several hats

Objective, resourceful, diplomatic, and quick-thinking

Demonstrates effective communication and creative problem-solving skills

Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and analytical skills

Comfortable navigating client input and able to ask questions to find solutions

Sees the big picture and has the vision to drive big ideas

Highly collaborative; working in partnership with client managers and other members of the agency team

Good listener, someone who reads people and those in a room/on a call well (and adapts their style and response accordingly)
