The Lee Group’s Senior Copywriter is a seasoned, motivated, highly creative individual with at least five years of agency experience who will help steer brands and develop the brand voice for a diverse group of clients in the healthcare, financial, higher education, real estate, and non-profit spaces.

This deep, conceptual thinker is fully capable of creating copy and content for integrated brand and advertising campaigns that will play across all formats including those required for broadcast, print, websites and digital media. This position requires a highly focused, organized, creative, and detail-orientated individual who is adept at keeping up with the fast pace of agency life, welcomes a challenge and is excited about the prospect of having a significant impact on many different brands.


Produce bold, strategic, persuasive messages and concepts in all types of media for agency clients

Collaborate with art directors to develop concepts based on creative briefs

Generate original, thought provoking ideas

Write copy from conception to completion for print, broadcast and online media

Present and explain the creative strategy behind copywriting concepts

Ensure work is always on tone, on brand, and on time

Sell high caliber creative work to clients

Work closely and collaboratively with account service, media, digital and clients to execute effective, strategic, creative work

Accountable for budgets, productivity and profitability


5+years of strategic copywriting experience

BA or BS in Marketing/Advertising, Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, or English is preferred

Direct experience in a creative department as a Copywriter

Stellar research skills

Great listening skills

Highly conceptual with a talent for high-caliber creative concept development and writing

Ability to articulate clearly and effectively both in writing and in person

Possess a thorough understanding of digital culture, social media and the user experience

Ability to write in multiple tones and voices for varying audiences, adeptness to excel within differing writing styles, and flexibility to move within differing styles with ease

Strong presentation skills
