We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to join the Development Communications team. In this role, you will manage the digital presence of the Office of Development. This will include maintaining fundraising websites/webpages using dotCMS and HTML/CSS, managing email services through Constant Contact, collaborating with team members to produce social media content, and evaluating the effectiveness of digital marketing and fundraising activities using metrics to improve performance.

Plans and executes digital and direct response marketing campaigns on social media, banner ads, email marketing, video marketing, and the web content management system
Analyzes and tracks reporting models in digital marketing and generates monthly reports on all activities
Collaborates with internal stakeholders and marketing team members to advance projects and maintain a positive image of the university’s fundraising efforts
Helps to customize email marketing campaigns and pay-per-click ads to meet fundraising needs and to enhance the image of the university
Assists with content management and maintenance
Crafts Search Engine Optimization (SEO) content for use on external website and digital marketing advertisements
Acquires insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
Supports department-based initiatives to contribute to the success of the university’s fundraising goals
Assists Development Team members on digital campaign methodologies, landscape, and trends
Performs other duties as assigned
Strong critical thinking skills and marketing ingenuity to appeal to different audiences and expand brand awareness as well as an understanding of user-centered web design, graphic design and interface principles, and responsive mobile design
Experience working in any sector with a content management system
Experience working with cloud-based CRM and online giving platforms is considered a plus
Basic knowledge of CRM or SQL databases is helpful
Digital and web writing skills are desirable as this person may also produce content
Strong organizational and project management skills
Exceptionally strong verbal, written, proofreading, and editorial skills
Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or allied field
Five (5) years of related work experience in digital marketing
