Reporting to the North America Regional Executive Marketing Manager, you will work with the North America regional and global marketing teams to execute regional industry events and strategic marketing programs that support regional growth and revenue objectives, sales strategies, and marketing goals. Specifically, you will work collaboratively with regional management, including: business development, sales, and global marketing to effectively perform marketing responsibilities in the following areas.


Events: Tradeshows, Conferences, Corporate Meetings and Client Events:

Tradeshows – Assist with the planning/execution of tradeshows to: create key messaging, develop integrated marketing campaigns, coordinate booth layout/design, signage, use email and social media for pre-show marketing, and oversee on-site execution including, booth furnishings, A/V and electrical equipment, and post-show wrap-up. Manage lead retrieval, lead distribution and event ROI reporting for each show. Assist sales team with hotel/registration process where necessary and provide clear communication on tasks.

Conferences and Meetings – Manage user conferences by conducting frequent meetings with sales and BDE teams to begin process of identifying speakers and technology for the annual conference. Conducting site visits, selecting vendors, venue locations, hotel accommodations, and furnishings, as well as coordinating demo stations, A/V and electrical equipment, catering, and shipping/logistics. Oversee conference marketing campaign including presenters and program agenda. Manage event sponsors, keynote speakers and all internal/external speakers. Identify and work with track managers in advance of and during the conference to ensure each conference track is managed appropriately. Work to ensure all print material is accurate and ready for printer on time and within budget.

Private Events – Coordinate event from inception through to completion. Create and distribute customer invitations, manage RSVPs, select and distribute promotional items, and provide customer hospitality. Work with management team to develop content, create all digital communications and measure event ROI.

Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, report and measure marketing campaigns to support overall marketing plan in collaboration with global marketing. Must be able to manage graphic design, campaign emails, landing pages, ads, banner ads, direct mail, social media, PR, etc.

Internal and External Communications: Newsletters, Winnews, Press Releases and Case Studies: Write regional internal and external communications, including quarterly newsletters, Winnews, monthly press releases, and case studies.

Digital Communications: Execute e-mail and direct mail marketing programs and effectively track results. Create web forms and landing pages to support email campaigns. Utilize UTMs to help track movement of clients and prospects through the campaigns.

Website: Manage events pages, create landing pages, monitor lead generation, and overall analytics.

Sales Support: Nurture a strong relationship with the sales department to provide marketing support to assist with customer presentations, updating collateral and managing promotional item inventory. Responsible for accessing industry subscription databases and providing reporting to sales team, follow up and manage revenue marketing process. Manage and lead all meetings for events and campaigns to ensure clear communication and buy-in by of the sales team. Work closely with sales managers to follow up on projects so that marketing can show ROI for pipeline. Build rapport with Lead Gen team for mutually successful input to sales.

Social Media: Promote marketing campaigns via LinkedIn Navigator, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media using Hootsuite.

Marketing Strategy: Assist in developing annual marketing plan/strategy and track progress to goals. Monitor regional budgeting and expenses by tracking and processing expenses against budget. Research industry information and provide analysis to sales managers and sales teams.

Other Duties: Assist regional personnel with other administrative tasks for sales and marketing-related activities as requested. Manage all aspects of the U.S. Budget online and provide period reports and analysis. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.


Bachelor degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or related discipline

3-5 years of related event management and marketing experience

Solid business acumen, with process or industrial (particularly oil and gas) experience is desired

Excellent written communication and proven ability to effectively write, edit, and produce marketing materials

Able to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner (writing samples will be required)

Creativity and innovative thinking, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude

Experience with effectively planning and conducting meetings with C-level management and other members of the sales and business development team

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work responsibilities with minimal supervision

Able to effectively work as part of a team

Able to independently define, schedule and manage all tasks

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize workload effectively under tight deadlines

Master multitasker (excellent project management skills)

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), SalesForce and Pardot (or similar marketing automation program) Sitecore (or similar web tool)

Some knowledge of HTML code is beneficial

Experience with Wrike (or similar team collaboration program), Dreamweaver, Zmags, Skype, WebEx, and, Bynder, Smartsheet, Hootsuite and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred

Knowledge of the engineering and design software industry is a plus

B2B marketing experience is preferred

CMP certification is preferred
