The Motherhood Center is nestled inside the loop and located in the sophisticated and established River Oaks community of Houston, Texas. We’ve been dubbed as the “Mommy Country Club” by many of our clients, and once you walk in our 7,000 square foot center you will see why. We have everything that a pregnant and new mom needs – it truly is a haven for Houston’s finest and trendiest expectant and new moms. The center has a yoga studio, massage spa, in-store boutique, educational space for pregnancy, parenting and children’s classes and placement services for clients that rely on our in-home providers for baby doulas (night nannies), lactation consultants, sleep coaches, babysitters and nannies.

We are currently seeking to hire a Part Time Marketing Specialist to post on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram. In this role, you will attend weekly marketing meetings to discuss any thoughts on direction and upcoming events/promotions. This role will most likely require 15 to 20 hours of work per week in our marketing office, and the remaining hours (20-25) will be as a customer care representative for our Pregnancy Boutique, Spa, Educational Classes, and Fitness/Yoga classes. This is a unique and exciting role for a dynamic individual looking to make a positive impact in our community.

REQUIREMENTS:

Proficient in programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Able to exhibit proficiency in all forms of social media and graphics

Possess an understanding of what new moms in Houston will appreciate seeing

Genuine curiosity and interest in people, love working with expecting moms and babies, a full understanding of the job role, and will possess the necessary skills to sell and actively communicate

Detail oriented, a self-starter who needs little follow-up after initial direction, and have a professional appearance with style and sensibility

Understands how to be a team player, is savvy about the visual and operational aspects of the role, and is passionate about high-end, proactive, customer service

Experience with breastfeeding or infant and maternity products is a plus
