Certified Group is currently seeking to hire a Social Media Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating corporate social media strategies to engage with members of our niche market. This is a key role in our Marketing department and the selected candidate will create content that fulfills those strategies and continuously report on the success of social media platforms.


Utilize a social media strategy to promote brand and create

Manage paid social campaigns in house, including briefing, uploading campaigns, testing, publishing, and ongoing optimization

Create and cultivate social media content (copy and graphics) for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and any future corporate channels

Manage social media calendar to balance posts, stories and advertisements

Work closely across team to ensure content is informative, appealing and in line with brand guidelines

Define most important social media KPIs and create reports to show progress

Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on that data

Establish, grow, and leverage online relationships with Certified Group members and industry partners through consistent engagement with their social media pages

Collaborate with internal departments to as needed for brainstorming and content development

Ensure content is technically appropriate for our scientific industry

Monitor industry channels to alert ABM Strategist  of any developments or impactful mentions of Certified Group

Remain up-to-date on trends, platform updates, and other developments that affect social media efforts

Other duties as assigned


Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field

2-4 years’ experience managing corporate social media platforms

Excellent time management, interpersonal and communications skills

Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Later

Excellent proofreading skills and ability to write compelling copy

Experience identifying key metrics and reporting on social media campaigns

Motivated to stay continually informed of the latest social media marketing trends

Ability to solve problems, adapt to changing needs and make decisions for and with the team

Able to work in a remote role with occasional travel up to 5% for team meetings
