As part of our expansion plan in the Americas, we are currently seeking to hire a Business Development Manager to work alongside our regional team based in Houston. In this role, you will identify and strengthen opportunities in the market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work alongside Regional Director of the Americas team in identifying networking and new business opportunities locally and throughout North and South America
  • Attend networking sessions and events locally and regionally
  • Manage the full cycle of new business process from prospecting to close
  • Collaborate with internal resources across global teams and lead the development of strategic and creative proposals to sell into client
  • Strong focus on marketing to new/prospective clients
  • Nurture accounts to drive organic revenue growth through development planning
  • Scope and develop proposals that achieve client marketing and communications objectives
  • Keep abreast of latest news and trends in the marketing and communications space
  • Any other duties that may be assigned that are compatible with skills and experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong commercial acumen and can uncover client opportunities with marketing and business challenges that can be addressed with marketing communications solutions
  • Excellent team player and can work effectively with internal and client teams to produce successful win-win outcomes
  • Strong sense of responsibility and take direct ownership of revenue performance and business results
  • Good track record of revenue generation and client satisfaction
  • Highly motivated self-starter, thrive in performance-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Confident and pro-active with a positive attitude
  • Good networking skills with the ability to establish positive first impressions
  • Quick thinking in identifying opportunities for client challenges
  • Ability to actively garner new business leads
  • Sound business acumen
  • Skilled in developing new business proposals
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience in account management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales
  • Passionate about marketing and communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
  • B2B experience
  • Industry knowledge is a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Well-developed network of industry professionals
