We are currently seeking to hire a dynamic and driven Marketing & Business Development Manager. The selected candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience and a proven track record of driving growth and expanding market presence through strategic marketing and business development initiatives. In addition, you will possess a unique blend of marketing expertise and business development acumen to help our firm achieve its goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Market Research and Analysis: Assist in conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the architecture industry. Support the analysis of market data to understand competitive positioning and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate in the development and implementation of marketing and business development plans aligned with the company’s goals. Work with senior leadership to contribute to the firm’s growth objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management: Assist in maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Work closely with Studio Managers to support BD and CR efforts.
  • Lead Generation and Conversion: Support efforts to generate high-quality leads through various channels, including digital marketing, networking, and industry events. Assist in nurturing leads to convert them into new business opportunities.
  • Proposal Development: Contribute with capability to lead the preparation and submittal of compelling proposals and RFP responses, demonstrating an understanding of client needs and project requirements.
  • Content Creation and Branding: Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and case studies, to showcase the firm’s capabilities. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing collateral and digital platforms.
  • Digital Marketing: Assist in managing the firm’s online presence, including website updates, social media, and email marketing campaigns. Support SEO and SEM strategies to increase online visibility and drive website traffic.
  • Networking and Partnerships: Participate in building and maintaining a network of industry contacts, including developers, engineers, contractors, and real estate professionals. Explore partnership opportunities to expand the firm’s reach and services.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Assist in monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing and business development efforts through key performance indicators (KPIs). Contribute to regular reports and insights to leadership for data-driven decision-making.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing the marketing and business development budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and emphasis on ROI.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with marketing automation and AI tools is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with teams across multiple offices
  • Excellent written, visual, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working with management and firm leadership
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and places high value on accuracy
  • Ability to work in an open-office environment
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience using a CRM database such as Deltek or Hubspot is a plus
  • Experience with public and federal clients is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English or a similar discipline +3 or more years of experience or 7+ years of AEC specific experience (in lieu of degree)
    Licenses/Certification
  • CPSM is a plus
