In this role, you will play a key part in driving the development and adoption of a suite of wellsite optimization solutions. The selected candidate will ensure that the product strategy addresses market needs in a profitable way and fully aligns with overall ChampionX goals. The compensation for this role is $135,000 – $150,000.


  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts and customers in ideation
  • Establish requirements and issues for development
  • Oversee field validation and acceptance testing
  • Ensure our products represent our commitment to best-in-class customer experience and value creation
  • Understand market dynamics through lens of customer challenges, urgency, and willingness to pay for new solutions using personal interviews and synthesizing inputs from other sources
  • Understand and evaluate competitive solutions in the marketplace
  • Define and own the product roadmap
  • Work with Customer Solutions and Development to prioritize, design, and deliver enhanced design/feature requests
  • Manage testing and verification of new features in collaboration with customers and Customer Solutions team
  • Manage day-to-day processes around product life cycle using structured program management techniques and tools
  • Work closely with Marketing Communications to deliver marketing launch plans and material
  • Plan, design, and implement product training to the Commercial, Solutions, and Support organizations
  • Engage with external and internal stake holders for product feedback, including market share analysis, net promoter score, and win/loss analysis
  • Maintain confidentiality of all matters


  • Four-year college or university degree in Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Product Management function or Production Engineering role
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in artificial lift industry
  • Experience in project management and multi-stakeholder environment
  • Excellent communication skills that convey conviction and depth in our value proposition
  • Ability to travel up to 25% if not in the Houston area
  • Able to present our portfolio to global audiences via a variety of communication channels like webinars, public speaking events, video interviews, print etc.
  • Ability to garner Voice of Customer from a diverse set of customers, geographies and industries and translate the VOC into actionable strategy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Possess solid business acumen
  • Strategic Thinker
