We pride ourselves in doing great work for a broad array of great clients. We are currently seeking to hire a detail-oriented and creative individual to join our firm as a project manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute public relations strategies for our clients
- Brainstorm and collaborate within a fast-paced team with ever changing deadlines and priorities
- Develop and maintain good relationships with clients, elected officials, community leaders and the media
- Organize press conferences and client tours
- Analyze media coverage; develop responses when needed
- Create presentations, articles, reports, and information as needed
- Write clear, persuasive and relevant copy that incites action and creates/raises awareness for our clients
- Take an active involvement in attending local industry events and events for elected officials
- Create and manage deadlines, and schedules
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, within reason
- Handle social media for the company, and develop strategy for clients
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, business, political science or related field
- 5-8 years of experience in public relations, public affairs or related field
- Excellent computer skills; proficient in various applications for Apple/Mac
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; strong copywriting and content creation skills
- Strong project management skills with ability to oversee multiple projects
- Available to work to meet all deadlines when necessary
- The ability to positively interact with a variety of corporate clients and elected officials
- Ability to solve problems for clients
