Corporate Brand Marketing is a dynamic team dedicated to improving ExxonMobil’s reputation by driving positive reappraisal among businesses leaders and government entities. As part of the ExxonMobil’s Public and Government Affairs (P&GA) division, we play a crucial role in shaping our public image and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
We are currently seeking to hire a talented Senior Marketing Analytics Advisor to join our P&GA Corporate Brand Marketing team. In this role you will manage, cleanse, manipulate, and coordinate large volumes of data with the end goal leverage data-driven insights to enhance our marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and support our mission to ensure ExxonMobil is viewed as an important, respected and trusted global company that works to improve society and quality of life.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead analysis of large datasets to extract actionable insights for marketing strategies and campaigns
- Work and guide team with disparate data sets and make sense of them to improve campaign optimizations and enhance measure campaign effectiveness
- Collaborate with ExxonMobil IT and data privacy teams to build and activate data platforms, data models and support data architecture based on ExxonMobil standards for privacy and compliance
- Direct and provide direction to external agencies and internal cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven marketing initiatives
- Champion test and learn approach to design and execute of A/B tests to evaluate campaign effectiveness and bring innovation and learning to future marketing planning and activation
- Provide direction to dashboard design for team to use appropriate data to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Drive insights from data-driven projects (full funnel models, attribution models, 3P measurement tracking)
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with data privacy regulations
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data science and marketing analytics
- Troubleshoot with existing measurement plans, data sources and 3P tracking, including challenges that may arise due to changes/updates such as GA4 migration, Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation, email deliverability, iOS14 updates, pixels, APIs, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
- 10+ years in marketing analytics
- Proven experience in marketing analytics or in a similar analytical and data role
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and overall digital media and measurement ecosystem
- Demonstrated experience in media analytics, the advertising industry, martech and adtech ecosystems
- Experience with data visualization tools, preference with Power BI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience or interest in the B2B and public & government affairs sectors is preferred
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google’s suite of products is preferred
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices is preferred
