The committees below represent our chapter’s critical functions that help ensure our members’ satisfaction. Each is supported by a large team of volunteers who help make this happen. Time commitments vary by position.
Professional Development
Direct our professional development events. Manage AMA Houston Mentor Program and reach out to local collegiate chapters to increase involvement with our professional chapter and bridge membership.
Communications
Responsible for elevating the AMA Houston Brand, achieving the highest level of awareness and attendance for our events, communicating the value of membership, and promoting our thought leadership.
Membership
Grow, diversify, and maintain chapter membership through efforts that recruit, engage, retain, and reward current and prospective members.
Programming
Schedule and manage our educational programs, Crystal Awards, or Marketing Edge conference.
Hospitality
Plan networking events for members to connect and grow together.
Sponsorship
Maintain, grow, and diversify cash and in-kind sponsorships for the chapter and its events and activities. Retain the long-term support and loyalty of these sponsors.
