What is the difference between AMA National & AMA Houston?
AMA Houston is a local chapter of the American Marketing Association — we have the benefits of tailoring our events to the local community with the support and network of being part of a larger national organization.
How much does a membership cost?
Professional Membership is $149 annually. If you have a group of three or more, join under a Group Member! They are available for $119/per person annually.
Student Memberships for full-time students are $29 annually.
Please note: prices are current as of January 2023, and may change without notice.
How do I join?
Does AMA offer group memberships?
Can I transfer my membership to a colleague?
No. AMA memberships are held by an individual and are non-transferable.
Can I transfer my AMA membership from one local chapter to another?
Yes. Contact AMA Customer Service and tell them the chapter you are transferring to.
Can I get a copy of the membership directory?
The AMA no longer has a member directory available to the public. The privacy of our members’ data is something we take very seriously.

You can make changes to your contact information (e.g., company, title, address, e-mail address, etc.) in three ways.

Why am I not receiving emails?
