IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

AMA Houston has decided to increase the price for listing a job by $15. This change will take effect beginning on September 1, 2019. This is only the second time we have increased the price in 22 years and although this may not seem like good news, the increase is to specifically help support Job Forward.

If you’re not familiar with Job Forward, this is a program that started one year ago. In short, Job Forward is a networking support group for marketing professionals who are unemployed, and there are two main goals of this program. The first goal is to help marketing professionals in transition find a great job as quickly as possible. The second goal is to keep everyone connected after they have landed in a new role so that we can create a huge “safety net” of people giving back to the cause of helping reduce unemployment. We believe that the job you help create for someone today, may lead to a job you create for yourself one day. And it has been proven that having a strong network of contacts is one of the best investments you can ever make in your career.

In closing, the proceeds received from the $15 increase, will help subsidize the cost for allowing Job Forward members to attend AMA monthly luncheons and other AMA signature events at a discounted rate. What Do I Receive When I Place a Job Listing with AMA Houston?

Most importantly, you’ll benefit by reaching a very targeted audience of marketing professionals and you’ll receive personalized service that other job boards do not provide. Cost:

AMA members pay $140 per job listing and non-members pay $165. Internship listings receive a $25 discount. Special pricing is available for multiple job listings starting at five and bundled job listing options are also available.

Deadline:

Job listings should be submitted by 5:00 pm on Thursday to help ensure they will appear in the upcoming AMA Houston Job Referral e-Newsletter, which is distributed on Sunday morning.

How to Submit a Job Listing and Pay Online:

Listing a job with AMA Houston is easy and you have two options available to you:

  2. You can also click on the online form link to submit a job listing and make your online payment all at once.
