We are currently seeking to hire a Communications Specialist for our Investor Marketing, Private Wealth Solutions Platform. In this role, you will serve in a cross-functional role supporting the marketing team responsible for promoting Hines-sponsored investment offerings to financial professionals and their clients. The selected candidate will develop and execute a wide variety of marketing efforts and initiatives in support of this growing area of our firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and create a variety of marketing materials targeting financial professionals (emails, brochures, videos, advertisements, etc.) by collaborating with various departments to gather and synthesize fund information and/or market insights, coordinate with graphic designers, and obtain approvals from stakeholders and compliance department
  • Provide proofreading support and review of fund presentations, shareholder updates, and other materials to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to brand standards
  • Support marketing campaigns targeting financial professionals, including direct mail, email marketing, and digital advertising, by assisting with development, logistics, tracking, and reporting
  • Assist with events and webinars for financial professionals by coordinating with speakers, producing digital invitations and signage, ordering promotional items, etc.
  • Perform general website updates, including uploading SEC filings and updated documents on a regular basis, and monitoring in-bound inquiries daily
  • Field requests from the sales team for marketing support by providing them with invitations, email templates, bios, and other materials in a timely manner

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
  • Five-plus years of relevant marketing communications experience required; financial services marketing experience is preferred
  • Experience working with a sales team and/or compliance team preferred.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and conscientious due to the highly regulated environment of financial services marketing
  • High level of organizational skills and ability to balance multiple projects at once
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud or Pardot, On24, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys being part of a fast-paced team and interacting with others across the organization and can work with a minimum level of supervision once acclimated to the job
