We also feature magnificent practice greens, chipping areas and a practice range featuring 30 stations, making Willow Creek one of Houston’s premier golf facilities. We provide comprehensive golf programming for all ages and skill levels, built around one of the most beautiful, well-manicured and challenging courses in the Houston area. Our professional staff are as good as they come, and the team knows every member like they are family.

We are currently seeking to hire a Membership Director. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and engage club members. You will cultivate relationships with current and prospective members to enhance their club experience and drive membership growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute membership sales and marketing plans to achieve membership growth targets
  • Identify and pursue new membership opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and promotional events
  • Build strong relationships with current members to ensure satisfaction and encourage membership retention
  • Collaborate with club management and other departments to create member-focused programs, events, and services
  • Conduct tours of the club facilities and amenities for prospective members, highlighting the value of membership
  • Manage membership inquiries, applications, and onboarding processes efficiently and professionally
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads, member interactions, and membership data
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform membership strategies
  • Prepare reports and presentations on membership metrics, trends, and opportunities for club management
  • Represent the club at community events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote membership and enhance visibility

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field is preferred
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or membership development, preferably in the hospitality or private club industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence others
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
  • Knowledge of country club operations, amenities, and membership structures is preferred
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events and member engagements
  • Professional demeanor, integrity, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to club members
