A members-only afternoon of giving back, connection, and laid-back fun.
This Annual Members-Only Appreciation Event is our way of saying thank you to the AMA Houston community. Hosted at Kids’ Meals, the day blends meaningful volunteer work with a relaxed social gathering designed to bring members together.
From 1:00–3:00 PM, members have the opportunity to volunteer by packing lunches for Houston-area school children. From 3:00–5:30 PM, the event shifts into a casual mixer in the Kids’ Meals pavilion and outdoor yard space, featuring provided box lunches, salads, snacks, desserts, non-alcoholic beverages, informal networking, a lunch-bag coloring activity and contest, giveaways, and a backyard bags tournament.
Why you should be there: Because this event is built for you. It’s a chance to give back to the Houston community, connect with fellow AMA members outside of a typical program or luncheon, and enjoy a low-pressure afternoon that mixes purpose with fun. It’s about strengthening relationships, doing some good, and reminding ourselves why this community matters.
